Birds nest Almost...on the ground.......

I was wandering around the other day and looked a bit closer than perhaps I should have at a bush. It housed the nest of one of the most optimistic birds I have ever seen. I say this because the nest was located about 4 feet off the ground and easily reachable by one of the cats in the area. Maybe the bird has a very vicious mate that will fend off all predators. But then again probably not. I guess I'll have to keep my eye on it and see how things transpire.
